Something to Consider
Come, let us reason together, ye learned men of Faith
Our crosses all are heavy--but shall we fall beneath their weight?
Come, let us match our intellects, as well as our desires
For with these two we may learn to set the world afire
Wisdom and Grace are of the same, and is set for us a path
We must learn to walk with them; the pace is going fast
My fear of trial and yours of pain will soon become too real
Regret's false sting and Despair's soft lie are yours and mine to feel
But listen for the whispers...listen for the calm
With Patience cometh Virtue--in our wounds will be the balm
Come--let us reason together, ye learned men of Faith

There are ancient words that call to men who fight against all odds
Words resounding within their souls while angels stand in awe
A grace for those who struggle on, keeping Truth and Honor near
Ever ancient, ever new, the words are very clear
Love sounds a whisper to darkened souls and often Love repeats;
"Do not fear, My son," comes soft, "Do not fear--only believe."
No simple soul could undertake the crosses from His Hands
And fear comes often to the man who knows were Grace must stand
"I'm here," is whispered to his soul when pain takes him to his knees
"Do not fear...do not fear...do not fear--only believe."
